Apple is the last major company to join the big screen bandwagon and it’s a long time coming. Event organizers are spending more time than ever working from their devices, and the bigger screen makes it possible to be even more productive. While the ability to run apps side by side is still missing, the larger screen should mean event organizers have to spend less time switching to their computers. 

iOS 8 has introduced extensions which allow apps to connect to other apps directly. Its not as fluid or open as Android, but can make some functions really easy. Event organizers can now save documents directly to Dropbox or other services, use your favorite photo apps to edit photos, and save notes in your favorite app. 

iPhones have always had some of the best cameras on the market, but the new models take it to a new level. With such amazing cameras, it might finally be time to no longer need separate SLR cameras. Plus, with all your attendees having great cameras on them, you can get rid of professional photographers and create a photostream right in your app. 

iPhone has been left behind when it comes to notifications. iOS 8 starts to remedy that problem with better notifications that can actually be interactive. Organizers can now reply, mark items, and get work done quicker than ever.
